During June 2nd-10th, Pomegranate Center, Tully’s Coffee and the citizens of Tuscaloosa, Alabama came together to build a gathering place in Jaycee Park. The design for the gathering place included an accessible amphitheater with colored shade cloths and complimentary picnic shelters. Plans for the project began in fall of 2011 when the community of Tuscaloosa was awarded a $100,000 grant through Tully’s Coffee Taste of Community Contest.
